Harmony Spiral
A harmony spiral pendant in the finest Edward’s Black black jade with a central swirl in 18k gold. This is my tribute to the ancient jade vessel known as the ‘Cong’. It is one of the most enigmatic of ancient Chinese vessels dating back thousands of years. They came in various shapes and sizes but always had a circular bore and square outer section Archaeologists believe they had some sort of ritual function. Later writings speak of the square representing the earth and the circle representing heaven. I like to think of my homage to the Cong as a way of linking the human and the divine.
